Happy Chinese New Year ! Hope the year of the rooster will be good for everyone.
Tuesday night (8 Feb) was the Lunar New Year's Eve. We had dinner at the home of our friends, George & Sheila Hardjani with 4 generations of their family and some other friends. A real feast and a lot of fun. The young ones ("M5"), with Sean, gave us some Chinese songs and a lion dance to welcome the New Year.
A visit to a small temple at about 3.00 am to light huge red candles was a nice way to finish off the night. Going to bed at 4 in the morning made getting up at 5.20 a bit tough for Steve and his golf game was well below par ....which of course means his score was well over par !
